Pole dancing, like the name suggests, is a series of strong moves that involves a vertical pole, the ones usually seen at gentlemen’s clubs. Because this dance is usually only done in “adult” clubs, pole dancing is looked at by some people in a downbeat way. But currently, pole dancing is now considered to be an art and it’s also a pleasurable way to lose weight. Yes, it melts down calories and gets your body in shape. It is in deed, considered now as exercise more than just a job for strippers.

Undeniably, pole dancing is a routine that can pretty much make every man’s jaw drop and eyes pop. That’s basically why it is being danced by strippers for decades already. But then again, because of its customary motions which have been proven to burn calories and perk up muscle tone, pole dancing is now accepted as a valid type of exercise. Another form of good exercise is the Salsa dance. It’s a dance that combines dance steps from African and European influences. The Salsa dance is enjoyed by people of all genders worldwide. It’s therapeutic way of loosening up the dancer in you. Aside from that, it’s also an enjoyable way to exercise. You can burn off all excess calories with the leg work and other body movements entailed in this dance.

Another fun method to burn extra fat is ballroom dancing. In past decades, it was just a form of social dancing during formal events. At present, ballroom dancing has gone outside of that realm and it’s now known as a dance sport. The Blackpool Dance Festival, which is regularly held in England, is the most eminent dance competition among ballroom dance enthusiasts. While that competition is the zenith of ballroom dancing activities, it’s not the only reason why people join the bandwagon. Ballroom dancing is fun and advantageous in many ways.

Whether you reach the competitive point or not, it’s always good to stretch a muscle or two, burn off calories, and totally lose weight because of something satisfying.
